Chantal Trazo is a filmmaker and designer based in the bay area. She specializes in production design, having worked on numerous short films over the last five years while receiving her MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University. Films have been accepted into festivals, such as Little Chicken, which premiered at the LA Shorts International Film Festival. She has also designed for UC Santa Cruz's Dean of Arts, Celine Parreñas Shimizu, who is well known for her work on race, sexuality, and cinema studies. Chantal is passionate about social issues, receiving her BA in Sociology, with her research being published in the University of San Francisco's Writing for a Real World Issue 18.
