MediaStorm is proud to announce it has received two nominations for the 33rd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards. A Darkness Visible: Afghanistan produced with photographer Seamus Murphy is a nominee in the New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming: Documentaries category. Crisis Guide: Iran, produced in collaboration with the Council on Foreign Relations is a nominee in the New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage. ‘A Thousand More’ Receives Casey Medal Honorable Mention

MediaStorm's A Thousand More received an honorable mention in the 2012 competition for the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism about the lives of children, youth and families in the U.S. A Thousand More tells the story of a family determined to give their disabled son a whole and vital life. In the midst of a great burden, one small child – with a seemingly endless supply of love – is the blessing that holds the family together. MediaStorm Presentation at Opening of Photoville This Weekend

Make this a Photoville weekend. Photoville opens tonight at 4pm! Photoville is a new Brooklyn-based photo destination - a veritable village of freight containers transformed into temporary exhibition spaces, taking place this summer from June 22 to July 1, 2012.
