MediaStorm Multimedia Storytelling Workshop Announced

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a One Day Multimedia Storytelling Workshop on Wednesday, October 21, in New York City. The workshop will be held in Manhattan- specific location to be announced shortly. The Workshop will be held from 10am-6pm. The cost of the Workshop is $250. A special discount rate of $200 is available to full-time students. This one-day workshop provides an overview of multimedia storytelling approaches while engaging participants in discussion about the most appropriate ways to create a multimedia story. Through real world examples, the instructor will share tips and techniques to improve reporting and editing and discuss the most effective tools for specific jobs. This workshop is designed for anyone interested in multimedia storytelling, no experience is necessary. MediaStorm to screen premier of Danny Wilcox Frazier’s Driftless at Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO

We are excited to announce a special premier of our soon-to-be released documentary Driftless: Stories from Iowa by Danny Wilcox Frazier. There will be a screening of the film, followed by Q&A with Danny and the team from MediaStorm, on Monday, May 18, at Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Bob Sacha - The Anatomy of a Prize Winning Multimedia Production - from the First Idea to the Finished Piece For more than 25 years Bob Sacha was a prize winning photojournalist constantly traveling the world on assignment for National Geographic, Life and other magazines. Then in January 2008, he joined the award winning multimedia production studio MediaStorm. His first assignment started with an email from Brian Storm: " I have a big project for you to start with working with Reuters to create a five year anniversary project on Iraq. 2008 Commencement Speech

Columbia, MO, Jesse Hall – I went back to my alma matter yesterday to deliver the commencement speech at the University of Missouri's School of Journalism graduation ceremony. I do presentations all the time, but always with the support of visuals. The process of writing a speech was new and intense, but it was rewarding to share the experience with the Class of 2008. I was introduced by graduating senior Robert Crosby. Robert Crosby: Our speaker is Brian Storm who graduated with his Missouri School of Journalism master’s degree in 1995. Mr. Storm is president of MediaStorm, the award-winning multimedia production studio based in New York City. MediaStorm has won several nationally recognized awards for its multimedia and documentary work.
