Funded by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knightfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">John S. and James L. Knight Foundation<\/a>, and developed by <a href=\"http:\/\/tizianoproject.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Tiziano Project<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.storiesfrom.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">StoriesFrom<\/a> allows individuals and organizations around the world to create rich documentary experiences online.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;StoriesFrom changes the way communities create and consume stories on a global scale,&#8221; The Tiziano Project Executive Director Jon Vidar says. &#8220;This site presents underrepresented views in a reliable and beautiful package.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Explore the stories, learn about the local reporters and talk to them directly using Facebook. All at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.storiesfrom.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">storiesfrom.us<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of their first stories.<\/p>\n<h1>Like Air, I&#8217;ll Rise<\/h1>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B5xqyylqbOw\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nSearching in this life for humility and peace. <\/p>\n<p>MAX: Media Art Exchanges provides a cumulative arts education program for at the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona. Middle and high schoolers participate in four formative weeks of poetry, music, art, photography and multimedia.<\/p>\n<h1>Ballerinas of East Jerusalem<\/h1>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XtRZIGEolsI\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\nA young ballerina hones her craft. <\/p>\n<p>The Tiziano Project trained Palestinian community members from East Jerusalem and The West Bank in multimedia journalism and social media skills.
