Photoville opens tonight at 4pm!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/index.html\"target=\"_blank\">Photoville<\/a> is a new Brooklyn-based photo destination &#8211; a veritable village of freight containers transformed into temporary exhibition spaces, taking place this summer from June 22 to July 1, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Photoville features a feisty mix of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/containers.html\"target=\"_blank\">exhibitions<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/talks.html\"target=\"_blank\">lectures<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/talks.html\"target=\"_blank\">hands-on workshops<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/talks.html\"target=\"_blank\">nighttime projections<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/dogrun.html\"target=\"_blank\">a photo dog run<\/a>, a camera greenhouse, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/beergarden.html\"target=\"_blank\">summer beer-garden<\/a> with food trucks that will create a photography destination like no other.<\/p>\n<p>Occupying more than 60,000 sq. feet in the heart of Brooklyn Bridge Park, Photoville is located on the uplands of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photovillenyc.org\/directions.html\"target=\"_blank\">Pier 3<\/a>, along the Brooklyn Waterfront between DUMBO and Atlantic Avenue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photovillenyc.org\/schedule-mediastorm.html\"target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<h2>Nighttime Projection: Storytelling @ MediaStorm<\/h2>\n<p><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Saturday June 23, 8:30pm<\/strong><br \/>\nNo Registration required, seating is first come first served<\/p>\n<p>MediaStorm founder and executive producer <a href=\"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/contributor\/brian-storm\/8\"target=\"_blank\">Brian Storm<\/a> will present on digital storytelling and the cinematic narrative.
