It felt like landing on the moon.<\/p>\n<p>The joy was palpable, surreal, and entire. &#8216;Pure joy&#8217; says the NYPD officer who normally would answer &#8216;not allow to talk&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>That night brought us all together to celebrate the unexpected. OBAMA. Magic keyword. A concept, a dream, and a need for change even bigger than the man behind it. But we needed the man.
