SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
\nThe Multimedia Producer will play a key role developing multimedia content that furthers program goals and institutional objectives. The Multimedia Producer will be able to conceptualize and produce highly innovative pieces to support wed-based, environmental and presentation projects. <\/p>\n

The Multimedia Producer will create content that will live on the website, will be shared with other social change-makers and organizations, and will be used during live programming and presentations.
\n\u2022\tDevelop concepts for short- and long-form multimedia pieces
\n\u2022\tUse excellent visual storytelling skills to produce pieces integrating a wide range of media
\n\u2022\tWork with program staff to learn about foundation initiatives
\n\u2022\tGenerate scripts, storyboards, and schematics based on initiatives
\n\u2022\tManage each multimedia project from start to finish
\n\u2022\tFind, select and assign work to the appropriate vendors, including videographers, animators, graphic designers, map makers and orders when needed for implementation
\n\u2022\tPlan shoots when necessary, including scouting locations, reserving equipment, hiring crew, making logistical and transportation arrangements
\n\u2022\tDevelop scopes of work
\n\u2022\tEstablish schedules
\n\u2022\tCreate\/manage budgets
\n\u2022\tAssure each phase of projects gets appropriate approvals
\n\u2022\tConfidently articulate ideas to groups, large or small
\n\u2022\tCapture and archive raw and finished assets and media
\n\u2022\tStay abreast of rich media techniques, emerging technologies and latest web trends
\n\u2022\tProvide strong knowledge of web design\/usability principles <\/p>\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
\n\u2022\t3-5 yrs experience as a multimedia producer
\n\u2022\tExcellent conceptual and visual storytelling skills
\n\u2022\tAbility to create and script compelling narratives
\n\u2022\tExcellent visual sense, project management skills, high energy, interpersonal skills, team work, and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
\n\u2022\tAbility to quickly grasp complicated subjects, troubleshoot ahead of time and an unwavering attention to detail are essential
\n\u2022\tDemonstrate senior-level knowledge of a broad range of design, code and presentation tools including but not limited to Adobe Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop; HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, Action Script 3; Premiere After Effects, PaperVision.
\n\u2022\tBA\/BS or equivalent combination of experience and education<\/p>\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
\n\u2022\tUnderstand social justice
\n\u2022\tVideo and sound editing
\n\u2022\tCreating and integrating graphics, animation, sound effects and music
\n\u2022\tInternational experience<\/p>\n

Grade:\t\t\t129- Exempt<\/p>\n
