{"id":20473,"date":"2016-06-20T18:51:37","date_gmt":"2016-06-20T22:51:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/blog\/?p=20473"},"modified":"2016-06-20T18:51:37","modified_gmt":"2016-06-20T22:51:37","slug":"announcing-the-bob-and-diane-fund-for-visual-storytelling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mediastorm.com\/blog\/2016\/06\/20\/announcing-the-bob-and-diane-fund-for-visual-storytelling\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the Bob and Diane Fund for Visual Storytelling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a title=\"Bob and Diane Fund \" href=\"http:\/\/www.bobanddianefund.org\/\">Bob and Diane Fund <\/a>is a new grant making program that will support visual storytelling about Alzheimer&#8217;s and dementia.<\/p>\n<p>The Fund&#8217;s founder, Gina Martin, says this about the Fund:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our vision is a world where Alzheimer\u2019s disease is cured and millions of people are spared the cruel and painful experience of losing a loved one to this awful disease.\u00a0As a daughter of Alzheimer\u2019s, I believe that visual storytelling can be a powerful way to advocate for the increased public and private research and spending needed to find a cure.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Each year,\u00a0the Bob and Diane Fund will award $5,000 to a visual storyteller\u2014still photography, video, and multimedia\u2014for stories about Alzheimer&#8217;s or dementia.
