Let\u2019s say you\u2019ve mixed your audio and for whatever reason it\u2019s consistently a little too low or a bit hot. Sure, you could return to your timeline and remix again, but that\u2019s time consuming.<\/p>\n

Premiere Pro 2014<\/a> offers a quick and elegant solution.<\/p>\n

First, open the Audio Track Mixer<\/strong>. (Note that this is different from the Audio Clip Mixer<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

Open<\/strong> the disclosure triangle<\/strong> on the top left side<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the far right, you\u2019ll see the Master<\/strong> channel. In the grey box<\/strong> above it, hover over the right-side dot<\/strong>, then right-click Special > Mastering<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re FX Slot<\/strong> should now look like this:<\/p>\n

Double-click<\/strong> the Mastering<\/strong> effect and the Track Fx Editor-Mastering<\/strong> window will appear.<\/p>\n

To adjust your overall audio relative to it\u2019s current volume, simply slide the Output Gain<\/strong> accordingly.<\/p>\n
