To read more about why we made the switch, check out <a href=\"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/19\/why-im-switching-to-abobe-premiere-not-final-cut-x\/\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In June, Adobe released <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adobe.com\/products\/premiere\/features.html\" target=\"_blank\">major updates<\/a> across their Creative Cloud suite of applications, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00CS75YKE\/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=B00CS75YKE&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=mediastorm01-20\">Premiere Pro CC<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=mediastorm01-20&amp;l=as2&amp;o=1&amp;a=B00CS75YKE\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" \/>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the coming weeks, I will show you some of these great new features. First though, here are some highlights that are most exciting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Browse After Effects projects in the Media Browser.<\/li>\n<li>Audio pitch remains the same when you shuttle forwards and back.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to select all tracks backwards.<\/li>\n<li>Select multiple transitions and change their durations simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li>Match Frame backwards, from the Source window to the Timeline.<\/li>\n<li>Tag \u2018favorites\u2019 in the Media Browser.<\/li>\n<li>Automatically back up autosave files to Adobe\u2019s Creative Cloud.<\/li>\n<li>All video and audio tracks can be locked with a keyboard shortcut.<\/li>\n<li>A contextual export menu for items in the Project Panel.<\/li>\n<li>Add a keyboard shortcut for the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog.<\/li>\n<li>&#8216;fx\u2019 badges on timeline tracks can be turned off in the timeline.<\/li>\n<li>More than one keyboard command can be assigned to a command.<\/li>\n<li>Nested folders are recognized on import.<\/li>\n<li>Much faster searching in the Project Panel.<\/li>\n<li>Volume of audio clips with keyframes can be nudged up and down with a keyboard shortcuts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For a full list of new features, see the Adobe\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/premierepro\/2014\/04\/thenextpremiereproccrelease.html\" target=\"_blank\">blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Also, check out Scott Simmons excellent roundup at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/provideocoalition.com\/ssimmons\/story\/adobe-premiere-pro-cc-nab-preview\" target=\"_blank\">provideocoalition.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Premiere Pro CC is a free upgrade for existing Creative Cloud users.
