These are full time faculty positions with generous salary and benefits.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Description<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidates should be pioneers and leaders who are able to demonstrate scholarly and\/or professional accomplishments worthy of appointment to a faculty position, including an ability to teach graduate students at a major research university.<\/li>\n<li>A bachelor&#8217;s degree is required; advanced degree preferred.<\/li>\n<li>This is a position for a leading journalist who has a record of accomplishment and stature in news radio or multimedia journalism.<\/li>\n<li>Positions feature a lighter teaching load in comparison to other institutions as Columbia professors are expected to remain productive in their fields.<\/li>\n<li>As a full-time member of the faculty, the incumbent will teach at least one course each semester.<\/li>\n<li>This position will begin no earlier than July 1, 2014, pending budgetary and administrative approval.<\/li>\n<li>Screening of applications will begin by January 2014.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Required applicant documents include a curriculum vitae and cover letter.
