You can find this option under the wrench icon in your timeline.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/blog1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16409\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/blog1.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Make sure you\u2019ve selected <strong>Show Audio Waveform<\/strong> from the menu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/blog2-e1381168883909.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16410\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/blog2-e1381168883909.jpg\" width=\"407\" height=\"411\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you\u2019re waveform still fails to materialize, select your entire timeline (<strong>Command-A<\/strong>) and from the <strong>Sequence<\/strong> menu choose <strong>Render Audio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After you render, you should be good to go.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article is part of a series of posts with tips and tricks from our producers&#8217; experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC after years of working in Final Cut Pro.
