This is a 3-4 days per week position based in New York City. Payment is commensurate with experience.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Job Description<\/h2>\n<p>Under the EF Director\u2019s supervision, the Editorial and Communications Associate will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with grant-making logistics including the management of online application process and the evaluation of applications;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with grantees to ensure delivery of projects;<\/li>\n<li>Develop and edit visual narratives for the EF web site;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct issue-based contextual research for photographic narratives;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with special projects like exhibitions and event production;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise supporting research assistants and interns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under the Supervision of MF\u2019s Communication Manager, the Editorial and Communications Associate will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Magnum Foundation\u2019s website content and social media feeds;<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a digital archive of MF\u2019s projects; and<\/li>\n<li>Assist with in-house design projects for a range of MF materials\u2014online and in print.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience working in an editorial role for a news outlet or media-focused organization or comparable non-profit<\/li>\n<li>Project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and copy editing skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in the following: Photoshop, WordPress Content Management System, social media platforms, and InDesign.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Submit your resume and cover letter as a PDF to <a href=\"mailto:eraynes@magnumfoundation.org\" target=\"_blank\">eraynes@magnumfoundation.org<\/a> with subject heading: \u201cAssociate Position\u201d.
