{"id":14157,"date":"2013-03-18T08:19:32","date_gmt":"2013-03-18T13:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/blog\/?p=14157"},"modified":"2013-03-18T08:19:32","modified_gmt":"2013-03-18T13:19:32","slug":"mediastorm-hiring-summer-2013-operations-and-social-media-intern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mediastorm.com\/blog\/2013\/03\/18\/mediastorm-hiring-summer-2013-operations-and-social-media-intern\/","title":{"rendered":"MediaStorm Hiring Summer 2013 Operations and Social Media Intern"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MediaStorm is looking for a motivated, creative and detail-oriented intern to work with the <a href=\"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/contributor\/lisa-jamhoury\/1075\" target=\"_blank\">operations and social media manager<\/a> for Summer 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The intern will focus on writing for the <a href=\"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">MediaStorm blog<\/a>, updating and maintaining our social media presences, creatively and strategically thinking about growing MediaStorm\u2019s online community, assisting with contest submissions, and helping with other daily tasks as they come up.<\/p>\n<h2>Qualifications <\/h2>\n<p>The intern that we\u2019re looking for has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>experience writing for an online or print publication<\/li>\n<li>an interest in developing online communities<\/li>\n<li>the ability to work and research independently<\/li>\n<li>a strong interest in online journalism, storytelling and their respective evolutions<\/li>\n<li>a love of new technologies<\/li>\n<li>a compulsive need to correct typos<\/li>\n<li>a burning desire to learn and improve his or her work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This internship is paid. The internship runs from May &#8211; August 2013.
