Photo by Justin Maxon courtesy of Alexia Foundation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexiafoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alexia Foundation<\/a> will be hosting \u201cImages and Issues\u201d at 25 CPW Gallery on January 23rd, 2013 in New York, New York. The exhibition will feature selected works from the Alexia Foundation\u2019s 22 years of awarding grants to photojournalists, with a special focus on the 2012 professional and student winners, Justin Maxon and <a href=\"http:\/\/mediastorm.com\/contributor\/katie-orlinsky\/2253\" target=\"_blank\">Katie Orlinsky<\/a>, both of whom will be in attendance. <\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from this event will benefit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexiafoundation.org\/blog\/2012\/07\/31\/aphrodite-tsairis-why-the-womens-initiative\/\" target=\"_blank\">Women\u2019s Initiative<\/a> and celebrate the work of Alexia Foundation and the photojournalists it encourages. <\/p>\n<p>The event will feature works by Melanie Blanding, Wesley Law, Ismail Ferdous, Ezra Shaw, Bob Miller, Marie Aragon, Juliette Lynch, Matt Lutton, Veronica Wilson, Justin Yurkanin, Mark Murrmann, Christopher Lane, Ryan Henriksen, Peggy Peattie, Matt Black, Mackenzie Reiss, Ami Vitale, Katie Orlinsky, Justin Maxon, Stephanie Sinclair, Khaled Hasan.<\/p>\n<h4>Event Details <\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexiafoundation.org\/blog\/event\/alexia-images-issues-new-york-the-alexia-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cAlexia: Images &#038; Issues\u201d<\/a><br \/>\n25 CPW Gallery (located at 62nd Street and Central Park West)<br \/>\nWednesday, January 23rd, 2013<br \/>\n6:00pm to 9:00pm<\/p>\n<h4>RSVP <\/h4>\n<p>Admission is free.
