The National Press Photographers Association’s 2007 NPPA Photojournalism Summit<\/a> will be held May 30th – June 2nd at the Doubletree Lloyd Center<\/a> in Portland, Oregon. <\/p>\n

There will be speakers in three tracks of workshops: Still photography, multimedia and television. Speakers for the multimedia portion include:<\/p>\n

  • Rich Beckman, professor of multimedia design and production at the University of North Carolina<\/a>\n
  • Andrew deVigal, multimedia editor for The New York Times<\/a>\n
  • Seth Gitner, multimedia editor for The Roanoke Times and Roanoke.com<\/a>\n
  • Dirck Halstead, editor and publisher of The Digital Journalist<\/a>\n
  • Richard Koci Hernandez, deputy director of multimedia and photography for The San Jose Mercury News<\/a>\n
  • Tom Kennedy, managing editor for multimedia at Washingtonpost.com<\/a> and Newsweek Interactive<\/a>\n
  • David Leeson, executive producer for video and new media at The Dallas Morning News<\/a>\n
  • Judith Levitt, photo producer for The New York Times<\/a>\n
  • Regina McCombs, The Star Tribune<\/a>\n
  • Jim Seida, multimedia producer for MSNBC<\/a>\n
  • Brian Storm, president of MediaStorm<\/a>\n
  • Joe Weiss, creator and developer of Soundslides<\/a><\/div>\n
