\"IMAA<\/a>American Illustration-American Photography<\/a> (AI-AP), the leading juried annuals in North America, introduces the inaugural International Motion Art Awards<\/a> to celebrate photographers, illustrators and designers who make their work move in all media. <\/p>\n

As a natural (and long-awaited) spin-off to the American Photography and American Illustration award annuals, the IMAAs honor the artist’s original and singular vision.<\/p>\n

Submission Details <\/h2>\n

Eligibility Dates:<\/strong> All work created or broadcast within the 12-month period from September 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012.<\/p>\n

Entry Fees:<\/strong> $25 – all self-initiated, unpublished, personal work in any category; $75 – all commissioned and commercially produced projects in any category; $10 – all work created by a full- or part-time undergrad and graduate students.<\/p>\n

Submission Deadline: <\/strong>September 21, 2012.<\/p>\n

Jury: <\/strong>An independent jury will view all work submitted in every category and select the winning collection.<\/p>\n

About IMAA <\/h2>\n

In recognizing the author’s “eye” and “hand” as paramount to the creative process,
\nthe IMAAs pay tribute to the best motion art from the year and offer a unique opportunity to the winners and their collaborators for visibility, promotion and bragging rights within the industry.<\/p>\n

Submissions are accepted as either commercially produced or unpublished projects in 16 categories as Photography\/live action; Illustration\/animation; or Motion Graphics and open to all photographers, illustrators, animators, fine artists, art directors, designers, agencies, animation and film studios, producers, directors, educators and students.<\/p>\n

Winners will be announced in October 2012. Winning work will be presented at The AI-AP Party and BIG TALK, the highly-anticipated annual book launch event and symposium, November 8-9th in New York City. The selected projects will also be displayed on The Archive<\/a>, AI-AP’s exclusive, permanent juried image collection at ai-ap.com. The winners will be further promoted in Motion Arts Pro, AI-AP’s new daily email newsletter sent to over 25,000 subscribers.<\/p>\n
