July 2014 MediaStorm Storytelling Workshop Staff & Participants

2015 marks our eighth training year at MediaStorm. Each year our workshops attract leading industry professionals looking to advance their multimedia and storytelling skills. Over 100 participants have come through our professional workshops and we continue to be humbled by how much they take away from the experience.

Meredith Birkett, Senior Multimedia Editor at NBCNews.com, told us that our Methodology Workshop was “a creativity adrenaline shot for doing storytelling at the highest level and for the right reasons.”

After taking our Storytelling Workshop, Claire Molloy, a freelance documentary filmmaker and editor, had the following to say, “I was in awe by the detail and thought MediaStorm has put into their stories. During the workshop they broke down their methods and process. The team not only discussed their achievements but their failures as well. Showing us you learn a lot from your mistakes. This is a company that truly loves to teach and wants everyone to improve.”

In 2015 we’ll be offering three Methodology, two Storytelling, and six One-day workshops at our studio in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking forward to another exciting, innovative and challenging training year. We hope you’ll be able to join us.
