MediaStorm welcomes Drew Jordan and AJ Maclean

MediaStorm welcomes interns Drew Jordan and AJ Maclean to our team. They will both be working with us this fall on some exciting multimedia and interactive design projects. Drew Jordan is currently finishing his graduate project to fulfill a Master's degree in multimedia at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Since completing his B.A. in Photography at Webster University, St. Louis, in 2005, he has worked across a wide spectrum of media environments. From producing design/multimedia projects for non-profit organizations around the country to working as a contributing photographer for several publications in New Zealand and Australia, his wunderlust has provided for a very rewarding freelance past. It also led to a stint as a goat herding cowboy in Australia. With interests in editorial, photojournalistic, and design practices he does not aim to specialize in one but rather meld disciplines to enjoy several ways of storytelling as a whole. Some…

Internship Opening: Year-long internship at Los Angeles Times

Great opportunity for aspiring photojournalists seeking large publication experience: the Los Angeles Times is looking for an intern. It sounds like start/end dates are flexible, so get those applications in! Job Posting: The Los Angeles Times is seeking applicants for a year long paid internship. We will consider recent college graduates who have appropriate photojournalism experience. The photographer can expect to work on a variety of both daily and longer term assignments throughout California. Additionally, the photographer can expect to work with editors to include audio and video components with their stories. MediaStorm accepting applications for Summer Interns- Deadline November 15

Even though winter hasn't started, we know many of you are deep in the process of applying for Summer internships. We're looking too- if you have a passion for quality multimedia, we'd love to hear from you. The deadline for our Summer 2010 Internship is November 15, 2009. MediaStorm looking for Spring 2010 interns- apply by October 15, 2009.

We're looking for interns for Spring 2010. If you're motivated, highly-organized, and passionate about multimedia, we'd love to hear from you. Start dates are flexible. We're looking for experience in multimedia production, design, motion graphics, and/or programming for web. Internships will be paid. We've pulled together some of the most frequent questions applicants ask- please read through these, and let us know if you have any other questions. Application Deadline is October 15, 2009. Apply here. What will I be doing? This is a production internship. You will be working closely with the MediaStorm team to produce multimedia projects.
