Recap: MediaStorm World Premiere of A Shadow Remains and Rite of Passage

Last night MediaStorm hosted the world premiere of A Shadow Remains by Phillip Toledano and Rite of Passage by Maggie Steber at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, NY. MediaStorm founder and executive producer, Brian Storm, started the evening by welcoming the audience to the event and then quickly turning to the films, first screening Rite of Passage by Maggie Steber, then Phillip Toledano’s A Shadow Remains. After watching the films, Brian invited Phillip, Maggie, and one of the films' producers, Tim McLaughlin, (producers Jennifer Redfearn and Rob Finch were not able to attend the event) to the stage for a Q&A with the audience. MediaStorm projects to screen September 10 at Galapagos Art Space

Just a reminder- On September 10 (tomorrow!), MediaStorm will be screening a full evening of multimedia video projects at Galapagos Art Space, including our Emmy award-winning and nominated pieces, Intended Consequences, Bloodline, and Kingsley's Crossing. The show will begin at 5:30pm, and will run throughout the evening, with new projects beginning every 20-30 minutes. This is a rare chance to see these projects on the big screen, so don't miss out! It's also a great opportunity to explore DUMBO during September's 1st Thursday Gallery Walk- tons of great exhibitions will be open, and local restaurants and bars will have specials galore. MediaStorm to screen premier of Danny Wilcox Frazier’s Driftless at Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO

We are excited to announce a special premier of our soon-to-be released documentary Driftless: Stories from Iowa by Danny Wilcox Frazier. There will be a screening of the film, followed by Q&A with Danny and the team from MediaStorm, on Monday, May 18, at Galapagos Art Space in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
