We're looking for interns for Spring 2010. If you're motivated, highly-organized, and passionate about multimedia, we'd love to hear from you. Start dates are flexible. We're looking for experience in multimedia production, design, motion graphics, and/or programming for web. Internships will be paid. We've pulled together some of the most frequent questions applicants ask- please read through these, and let us know if you have any other questions. Application Deadline is October 15, 2009. MediaStorm Workshops launch new projects

During the week of June 20-26, 2009, we brought 8 talented professionals together to collaborate with the MediaStorm team at the fourth MediaStorm Advanced Multimedia Reporting Workshop. This was a special workshop for us - given the tough economic climate and the critical need for multimedia training, we decided to hold a one-time, tuition-free Workshop, and we were thrilled and inspired at the number of people who put the time into applying for this opportunity. Register now for NPPA’s Convergence 09, Multimedia Immersion Workshop

Registration for NPPA's Convergence '09 event is now open.  This year's lineup features 3 separate events- the Multimedia Immersion Workshop, June 6-10, a one-day seminar celebrating the 20th year of NPPA's Women in Photojournalism, on June 10, and the Visual Journalism Workshops, June 11-13.  The Convergence conference will be held in Las Vegas, NV. For those interested in multimedia training, the Multimedia Immersion Seminar is definitely worth checking out- our own Eric Maierson will be there as one of the coaches, along with some of the best in the industry. MediaStorm Workshops present Beautiful Noise

The third MediaStorm Advanced Multimedia Workshop was held December 6-12, 2008. The project, Beautiful Noise by Morag Livingstone, Mareile Paley, and Kimberley Porteous is now online. Kirk and Evelyna are raising their children in a small New York City apartment far from her home in Germany. They try to stay optimistic while coping with the current economic crisis.
