Inc.com, the most respected website for entrepreneurs and start-ups, is seeking a video production intern to join its editorial team in its downtown Manhattan office. The ideal candidate has experience in video and digital production and editing, as well as a passion for new technology and the Web. He or she should be creative, resourceful, deadline-oriented, and a good interviewer. Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Online Video Content Management Systems, and current video technology (HDDSLRs, audio techniques, etc) is essential. American Progress is seeking a Video/Multimedia Producer to lead the creation and distribution of video and other multimedia products. Coordinating the work of a videographer and interactive designer, the producer will work with policy experts and website editors to turn American Progress policy initiatives and messaging into compelling video, audio, and interactive graphics; distribute them to intended audiences through multiple channels; and demonstrate a measurable impact. The position requires a passion for progressive politics and policy, strong news judgment, superb scriptwriting skills, solid video editing, and expertise in online marketing and video distribution. The International Monetary Fund has an opening for a multimedia/videographer intern: Job Description: The International Monetary Fund's internship is for Videographer/Final Cut Pro with some experience shooting HDSLR. The duties will include shooting with Sony EX-3 cameras, Canon 5D Mark II cameras, editing using Final Cut Pro 7. Duties also to include brainstorming with clients, help with scripting and storyboarding, lighting, working in a broadcast studio, still photography and exporting various formats to publication/broadcast. The internship is flexible on start times and usually extend for 3 months but can be extended to 6 months. You will be compensated. Language skills are a plus. MediaStorm is looking for a Project Management Intern for this spring/summer. We're looking for someone interested in everything from reviewing projects to creating training documents and preparing submissions for film festivals. This is an administrative position, where you will be working on several independent projects, as well as assisting Multimedia Producers, Designers, and Business Development as needed. Applicant should have: - Knowledge of GoogleDocs, InDesign, basic html. - Solid writing skills - Ability to manage many projects at once - Strong organizational skills This is not a production internship - Final Cut Skills are helpful, but not required.
