The Eddie Adams Workshop has announced that the 26th Workshop, which will be held October 11th - 14th, 2013 in Jeffersonville, New York, is now accepting applications. The Workshop is one of the premier photojournalism events for students and young professionals. It's a weekend that offers an excellent opportunity to meet the top photojournalists in the world, and to work alongside the best photo editors in the business. Application Deadline for Smith Grants Set for May 31st

The deadline to apply for grants presented by the W. Eugene Smith Memorial Fund is set for May 31st, 2013. W. Eugene Smith Grant for Humanistic Photography 2013 Grant: $30,000 Discretionary Fellowship: $5,000 To Apply: http://smithfund.org/eugene-smith-grant Application Deadline: May 31, 2013 The W. Eugene Smith Grant is presented annually to a photographer whose past work and proposed project, as judged by a panel of experts, follows the tradition of W. Eugene Smith’s concerned photography and dedicated compassion exhibited during his 45-year career as a photographic essayist. The grant has often been referred to as the most prestigious honor in the field of documentary photography. For 2013, the amount of the grant will be $30,000 to provide photographers with the financial freedom to continue or complete a major photographic project. Alexia Foundation Hosts Exhibition: Eyes on the World

The Alexia Foundation will host the opening night of “Eyes on the World” at 25CPW Gallery on June 20th, 2013 in New York, New York.
