Hillary for America, the official campaign to elect Hillary Clinton for President, is looking for candidates to fill its full-service video production team.

Filmmakers, editors, cinematographers, producers and motion graphics artists are encouraged to apply for the New York City-based positions (full-time through November 2016).

Job Descriptions

Title Motion Graphics Artist
Position Overview Hillary for America is looking for motion graphics artists to join our video team. The role is based at campaign headquarters in New York City. The motion graphics artist will conceptualize and create high-end, motion graphics films.
Requirements -Must have concept, design, AND animation experience-Cinema 4D or other 3D knowledge a big plus. Emphasis on 3D motion graphics rather than VFX or character work.-Compositing and motion tracking experience also a plus.-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator) a plus.-Exceptional design skills including layout and typography experience.

-Great sense of timing and screen composition.

-Knowledge of video codecs and formats

-Knowledge of video/broadcast and web standards

-Experience with color correction, special effects, and music selection

-Experience working in post house, ad agency, or similar deadline-driven environment.

-Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment and tight deadlines.

-Must be quick to understand briefs and produce storyboards.

-Must work on-site in New York City.

Title Cinematographer
Position Overview Hillary for America is looking for talented cinematographers to join our video team. The role is based at campaign headquarters in New York City. The cinematographer will document and film a variety of moments throughout the campaign.
Requirements -Solid experience as a cinematographer for a wide variety of styles and formats: cinematic documentary, beautifully lit interviews for high profile individuals, cinematic storytelling of real people, and multi-cam live events and performances.-Experience lighting professional interviews mandatory.-Ability to edit on Adobe Premiere a plus; please indicate any editing skills.-Ability to work as a one-man band (monitor audio, camera, set up lights, carry gear).-Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment and tight deadlines.

-Position is based in New York City.

-Experience operating C300 or FS7 cameras is preferred.

-Extensive travel involved.

Title Video Editor
Position Overview Hillary for America is looking for talented editors to join our video team. The role is based at campaign headquarters in New York City. Editors will conceptualize and create videos for the campaign.
Requirements -Solid experience as an editor for a wide variety of styles and formats.-Edit on Adobe Premiere. Experience with Photoshop and After Effects a plus.-Must be able to color correct and audio mix.-Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment and tight deadlines.-Knowledge of video/broadcast and web standards, as well as codecs and video formats.

-Ability to edit without producer support is a plus.

-Must work on-site in New York City.

Title Producer
Position Overview Hillary for America is looking for talented producers to join our video team. The role is based at campaign headquarters in New York City. Producers will conceptualize, pitch, and execute videos in a variety of formats for the campaign.
Requirements -This position is for non-fiction TV/film producers who can manage video projects from the development phase, to field production, to post-production.-Solid experience as a producer for a wide variety of non-fiction styles and formats.-Experience/interest in politics, policy, government is mandatory, as is the ability to interview subjects.-Strong writing and organizational skills a must.-Please indicate whether you can shoot and/or edit.

-Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment and tight deadlines.

-Must be able to be based in New York City, with extensive travel involved.

Title Filmmakers
Position Overview Hillary for America is looking for talented filmmakers to join our video team. The role is based at campaign headquarters in New York City. Filmmakers will conceptualize, pitch, and execute videos in a variety of formats. They will shoot and edit their own stories.
Requirements -This position is for filmmakers who love to create films from the brainstorm/storyboarding phase all the way to the finished piece.-Ability to shoot as well as edit on Adobe Premiere a plus. Please indicate whether you can shoot and/or edit.-Experience interviewing subjects is mandatory.-Strong organizational skills a must.-Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment and tight deadlines.

-Must be able to be based in New York City, with extensive travel involved.

Title Post-Production Manager/ Video Channel Manager
Position Overview Hillary for America is looking for a post-production manager to join our video team. The role is based at campaign headquarters in New York City. The post-production manager will be responsible for media management, post workflow and scheduling. The manager will be responsible for keeping project files organized and maintaining quality control. In addition, the manager will maintain and optimize our video channel on Youtube and ensure appropriate video placement to all our social media networks.
Requirements -Solid experience as a post-production supervisor, manager, or coordinator in video production. Note that this is not a junior level position. Applicants must have at least 3 years experience coordinating several editors working simultaneously.-Knowledge of livestream capabilities and interest in new livestream technologies is strongly preferred.-Proficiency on Adobe Premiere and After Effects a plus. Please indicate your experience in either.-Knowledge of video/broadcast and web standards, as well as codecs and video formats.

-Strong organizational skills.

-Position is based in New York City.
