Pictures of the Year International Multimedia Winners Announced

We are excited to announce that MediaStorm.org won Best Use of Multimedia – Small Markets, in the 2008 POYi Competition.

The MediaStorm team was involved with seven of 26 multimedia awards including:

Second Place, Multimedia Feature Story: “Gorilla Massacre” Michael Nichols and Brent Stirton, National Geographic / Produced by MediaStorm.org

Award of Excellence, Multimedia Feature Story: “Evidence of my Existence” Jim Lo Scalzo, US News and World Report / MediaStorm.org

Second Place, Best Multimedia Project: “The Marlboro Marine” Luis Sinco, Photographer, Los Angeles Times / Produced by MediaStorm.org

Award of Excellence, Best Multimedia Project: “Black Market” Patrick Brown, Photographer / MediaStorm.org

Best Use of Multimedia – Small Markets: “Soul of Athens” by Ohio University. Chad Stevens, Bob Sacha and Brian Storm participated.

Best Use of Multimedia – Small Markets: “Mountain Workshops” by Western Kentucky University. Chad Stevens and Bob Sacha participated.
